By implication, 2001 was the last time Bush actually talked to a Democrat. I don't know and I don't care how often Clinton talked to the Republicans back in the day, either. Bush 'miraculously' appeared at the meeting today to chitchat policy, kowtow to the Democrats and crack a few jokes about his lack of an 'ic" when you need it. Hardy har har.
